Emergency & Critical Care:
A veterinarian and technicians are on site 24 hours, 7 days a week for emergency care and procedures. Critical animals are hospitalized in our intensive care unit and we work closely with referring veterinarians. Advanced care capabilities include transfusion medicine, oxygen and heat support, and cardiac monitoring.    back to top

Preventative and Wellness Care:
We recommend annual checkups for all pets. After a thorough physical examination, our veterinarians will discuss issues with you including a vaccination protocol customized for your pet, prevention of internal and external parasites, weight control, dental health, and other medical information relevant to your pet.     back to top

Geriatric Care:
To keep your pet happy and healthy as long as possible, we recommend annual screening bloodwork for our older patients. Depending on how your pet has been doing at home and on our physical exam findings, we may also recommend further diagnsotics.    back to top

Medicine:
Our doctors are proud of the team approach we take to diagnosing and treating complicated cases. We refer to and work closely with local specialists on a case-by-case basis.    back to top

Surgery:
On weekdays, we perform scheduled surgeries including spays, neuters, declaws, mass removals, bladder stone removal, and exploratory surgeries. Laser surgery is available. We are ready 24/7 to perform emergency surgeries such as foreign body removal, bloat correction and gastropexy, pyometra, splenectomy, and abdominal mass removals.     back to top

Dentistry:
When your pet is scheduled for a "dental", a complete oral exam is performed under anesthesia. Special dental x-rays may be taken. We use ultrasonic scaling and specialized equipment to clean your pet's teeth. Advanced periodontal therapies include extractions and oral surgery.     back to top

Imaging:
We use a new digital radiography unit to obtain quality x-rays. Other in-house imaging capabilities include ultrasound, endoscopy and dental radiography.    back to top

In-house Diagnostic Laboratory:
Because of our high case load and emergency services, we have 2 sets of IDEXX blood analyzers and can run complete blood counts, chemistry panels, and electrolyte panels within minutes. In our diagnostic lab, we also perform cytology, fecal parasite analysis, feline leukemia, FIV, and canine parvovirus testing, blood smears, and urinalysis. We also extensively utilize an outside diagnostic lab for heartworm and other non-emergency blood testing, histopathology, and other services.    back to top

Exotics:
Several of our doctors treat small mammals, reptiles, and birds.      back to top

Medical Boarding:
If your pet requires medication and/or monitoring while you are away, medical boarding services are available. Your pet will receive 24-hour medical supervision by one of our veterinarians, and receive its regular medical treatments by our experienced and caring technicians.    back to top
