Emergencies
~50 local clinics refer their clients to Golf Rose Animal Hospital & Animal Emergency Services for emergency care. If you are not sure whether your pet requires an emergency visit, please call and ask! back to top
When you arrive, an emergency technician will triage your pet. As in a human emergency room, emergency cases are seen in order depending on their medical needs. Please be patient and be prepared for a possible wait, especially during weekdays and busy weekend hours. back to top
All emergency cases are assessed an emergency fee that covers a physical exam by a veterinarian. Any additional charges and procedures will be discussed with the emergency veterinarian after your pet has been examined. back to top
Payment
Full payment for outpatient cases is required at the time services are rendered. We do not offer any payment plans. Payment can be by credit card, check, or cash. back to top
Hospitalization
If your animal requires hospitalization, the attending veterinarian will provide you with a detailed daily estimate. You will be required to leave at least the low end of the first day's estimate as a deposit. If your animal will be hospitalized for more than a few days, you will be required to leave additional deposits.
Doctor case rounds are held at least three times per day to ensure that your animal receives the highest level of care. Our veterinarians will communicate with you and your regular vet as often as needed. Records are faxed to referring clinics early each morning. back to top
Prescription refills
You may phone in refill requests for medications and prescription diets. If your pet has been examined by one of our veterinarians within the past year, the refill is for a condition that did not require a recheck examination, and your pet's doctor approves the request, you may pick up the refill during regular office hours. back to top
